For those of you who have taken two or more science APs, which in your opinion was the easiest?

Chemistry because it is not as formula intensive as Physics and is more concept-based rather than tote-memorization in Bio.

lol i like memorization tho, so i'd say bio...it all depends on what type of person you are.

Well, I've never taken Physics, but I've taken the other two. Bio was much easier for me. I got a four with just doing a practice test or two and brushing up on big things like mitosis, meiosis, respiration, etc. Probably spent maybe two or three hours studying. I did the same for chem and got a three. But with bio you can kinda semi-BS your way through essays if you know some stuff about the subject. You really can't do that with chem. I was totally lost on one of the free response chem questions, so I would say that a four definitely wouldn't be that hard to get on that test. I've never taken physics, but I would say it's a safe bet that the bio test is easier, so I'd say bio is the easiest of the three.

in my school they even don't have AP Chem anymore, lol. we got IB Chem SL, which is easier than ap chem

bio?idk

Physics b is like a lot of formulas switching around
phy c is just calculus lol

it all depends on what kind of person you are:
if you like to memorize (not into calculations) then you'd definitely like bio.
if you're good at playing around with numbers and plugging them into equations, then you'll do well in chemistry.
if you are skilled at deeper calculations and planning out a strategical way to solve a problem, then you should do physics. many people find physics difficult, but to some it comes naturally.

good luck with choosing your area

to me physics

Thanks all, for your input. Sounds like bio is the way to go for a "non-math" person.

Matters by what kind of person you are... as someone who is taking AP Bio & AP Physics this year, I personally think AP Physics is easier than AP Bio... but AP Physics requires a lot more thinking & understanding concepts while AP Bio is.... MEMORIZATION!!!!!!

actually for me bio wasn't all memorization. it was very conceptual. and the ap bio test is REALLY easy because you can get like a 60% on it and still get a 5. all you have to remember is the machine gun method for the essays =) they give you points for what you write, but don't take off points if you say something wrong, so just write down EVERYTHING that you know about the topic and you'll be fine.

Is that really what they do? Chem was easiest for me; Physics is hardest.

I did physics and bio. Honestly, I loved bio so I think it was the easiest. I'm taking physics now and it's hard cause I'm not a strong mental math person (evil multiple choice).

I think Bio is the easiest because the information isn't that hard to figure out and.. it is just simple memorization, Physics and Chemistry is memorization + application

AP Chemistry.

Physics C is the hardest IMO. E&M was crazy. at least i barely passed Mechanics haha.

Chem was easier than Bio, but Bio has a very generous scale (considering my class was 7 chapters behind and I just bsed the essays)
