I am in high school and am looking for some AP tests that are RELATIVELY (I understand no AP test will be easy, and that each one will require large amounts of prep, but I am looking for the ones that will be easier compared to other tests) easy to take without having taken the course. Also, if I take the tests without having taken the course and do poorly, will I have to report them to colleges? The colleges probably wouldn’t know the difference if I didn’t report them because the class won’t be anywhere on my transcript, right? Also the tests/courses I’m already taking/I have already taken are: euro, chem, lang, US, French, calc BC, and comp gov. I understand I don’t NEED more APs, I just want to give some a try! ALSO: I will be in Spanish 4H as a senior next year, so would it be a good idea to try the AP Spanish exam next year? Thanks!!!
AP Pyschology and most AP humanities are relatively easy to self study for. You can always cancel your scores early if you don’t feel good about the test you took. Colleges probably won’t ask for your AP scores if there isn’t any “evidence” of them on your transcript, but doing well on an AP that you self-studied for makes you look like a really motivated student. I think you should do AP Spanish, even if you don’t do well on the exam, it can’t hurt you because you will be committed to a college by the time you get that score.
