Which apartment should i live?

Here are few choices:
1. Los Angeles California Apartments - The Orsini
2. Los Angeles California Apartments - Home - The Medici
3. Los Angeles California Apartments - Home - Skyline Terrace

Which one is the safest? I heard that area around USC is very dangerous.
I dont want my car get broken in. =[

Any good apartment recommend? My budget is around $1400 per month.

Thanks

I'm actually trying to look into this as well. I'm planning on being admitted as a transfer and since we're notified so late there's virtually zero chance of gettings university sponsored housing. I'll be looking into this more in-depth this weekend once I get back home but if you get any more information you should post it also.

If you're interested in maybe having a roommate to lower costs a little you should hit me up. I could use one..... think a single bedroom apartment is a little bit out of my budget.

Actually, this year it looks like housing will be able to offer space to any transfer who wants it since the Freshman class is small.

ditto trojanchick99's info.

Freshman admissions were slashed. It's actually probably more realistic this year to want housing and get it.

does that include the university sponsored apartments? I have 0 interest in living in a dorm again. I would rather do the hour commute every day

S lived in Medici after graduation. It is very attractive and very safe. The apartments are laid out nicely- a little small but very efficient. The grounds are beautiful- Italian style. It is in a busy area, but S said it was never too noisy. There is a very easy on-ramp to the 110 FWY West. It is often referred to as the "half-way house" because it is popular for students who have just graduated from USC. (Although there are a lot of USC students as well.)
