Which book should I choose (AP ECON)

For my AP Economics (Macro and Micro) class I have the choice of four books to read over the summer.

Freakonomics

Naked Economics

Undercover Economist

The Return of Depression Economics and the crisis of 2008

Which one should I choose?

Bumppppppppppppppppppppppppp

The Return of Depression Economics and the crisis of 2008 - I find the 2008 economic meltdown to be incredibly interesting, plus, you could supplement your reading by watching Michael Moore’s “Capitalism: A Love Story” (its available on Netflix, I believe) which talks a lot about what exactly had to happen prior to 2008 for such a disastrous recession to transpire (deregulation, unbalanced home equity loans, unrestricted loaning in general, etc.)

Bumppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp

I found freakonomics really interesting, but it’s probably not the best book for preparation for AP Econ. I haven’t read the others.

The book is not for preparation for the class necessarily (we have a textbook assignment for that). I have to write an essay on one of the 4 books, and I want to know which one is the most interesting.

freakonomics will make writing an essay super easy. It’s a legitimately perspective changing book. That being said, Naked Economics will help more for the exam.

Ok, thank you! I think I will probably read Freakonomics because last year they made everybody read Naked Economics and everybody hated it.
