Which books are the best for prepping ACT?

I'm trying to decide which books I should buy for the July test. I have plenty of time, (since if I do bad on July, I can take my test until the December test) and I don't have ANY books right now, so I know I should get the Real ACT book, but what else?? if you could, please list your favorite book (the whole name, not just PR or Kaplan) or program for prepping ACT. Thanks

I would go with the princeton review cracking the act

buuummmmmmp

there is no july test. did you mean june?

on that one ....yah on accident........ now any more books i should use plz?

i like the red book & kaplan, i've heard great things about princeton review though.

Amazon.com: Kaplan Spotlight ACT: 25 Lessons Illuminate the Most Frequently Tested Topics: Mary Wink,Laneshia Thomas: Books

Raised my score from a 29 to a 31, increasing my English score 5 pts and my Math 5 pts. Great book that isn't long and has great info.

i would suggest the real acts or princeton review... but definitely NOT BARRONS
on my barron practice tests i was getting low scores in all subjects like a 14 or 15. I ended up with a cum.- 35 on the april test... as a SOPHOMORE. Princeton review is a good book to get prepared by and the real acts is a very good supplement.

thank you guys, any more books ?? and is kaplan books good?

and btw, wat does the red book stand for??? never heard of it

bummmmmmmmmmpppppp

the official ACT book= red book
