Which CC in CA should I choose?

<p>I plan to major in Mechanical Engineering in one of the UC's as international student. Currently, my choices are De Anza College and Santa Monica College. Both colleges have high transfer rates to UC. But the problem is I can't find any thing related to engineering in the De Anza website. I'm worried that I wouldn't be able to transfer to UC as mech. engineering student in the end of 2 years. On the other hand, the related information is clearly stated in the SMC website, which made me feel better. So, I need a little advice and my question is as below,</p>

<p>1) Which CC is better?
2) Which CC has a higher chance to transfer to UC majoring in Mech. Engineering?</p>

<p>I dont know about their engineering program, but santa monica sent more transfers into the california system than de anza last year.</p>
