What are each of the Claremont Universities known for? Which is the best for a premed student?

don’t take my word on this one cuz i’m not a premed student but I believe Pomona will be the best choice for that.

and by the way. It’s the Claremont Colleges not universities since university refers to a college with post-grad program

Yeah, Pomona all the way for premed. Mudd’s core is nice for premeds because you’ll fill all your requirements except Bio and Orgo just by taking the core. And the premed advisor Prof. Drewell is awesome–his research involves splicing fly genes to make them grow an extra pair of legs on their eyes. On the other hand, you’d be taking more than 5 classes a semester and grading can be tough, especially in core classes.

I’d think that Pomona would be nice as a premed because students there average 4 classes a semester, their bio program is well established, and they can’t really be accused of grade deflation–I took a class there last semester, and the prof said that “a B- is yours to lose,” which is so not the case at Mudd.
