So this is what I have planned out for 11th and 12th grades:

11th:
1.) Precalculus
2.) APUSH
3.) PE III
4.) Chamber Orchestra
5.) Lunch
6.) AP English III
7.) Honors Physics
8.)

12th:
1.) AP Calc AB
2.) PE IV
3.) Chamber Strings
4.) Lunch
5.) AP English IV
6.) AP Biology
7.)
8.)

So as you can see I have 3 empty spots. 1 in 11th, and 2 in 12th.

I want to take 3 from either: AP Psychology, AP Physics, Anatomy and Physiology (not AP), Genetics (also not AP), AP Computer Science and/or AP Environmental Science.

I want to be either a medical doctor, specifically a neurologist is what I'm thinking or a bio-medical engineer therefore, I'm trying to plan and think ahead for college and undergrad school. Which 3 classes do you think would benefit me the most from the above mentioned options?

I was thinking about taking AP Psych, A & P, and Genetics, but I feel like that would be kind of pointless because A & P and Genetics aren't AP classes, so they would not help me out in college.

What are your thoughts?
Which 3 would be the most helpful?

I definitely recommend AP Physics (C, not B).

NOTE: CHOOSE APs WISELY. Colleges like breadth, and they like to see you taking hard classes. But I made the mistake of taking 7 poorly-chosen APs. They probably helped me get into a better school, but I only get credit for 3 of them because I chose ones I thought colleges wanted to see.

For APs, it depends on A. what colleges you are interested in, vaguely, and B. what you want to major in, because you might be able to place out of medical school pre-requisites (like Physics) or major requirements. Generally, AP Psych and APES don’t count for anything (Psych might give you a good background for any intro-level Psychology courses, though). AP Computer Science is only useful if you have a Computer Science-related major (so, if you’re interested in, like, bio-medical imaging, consider it). Other than that, take whatever you want!

I think Psych classes are generally fun and kind of easy, and I loved A&P. Senior year, take a chill class. The less AP classes/tests you take senior year, the better. Senioritis is going to set in, most likely, since you’ll already be accepted to colleges and there’s literally no reason to keep trying hard.
