WHich college is better in pre-law and pre-med, Loyola or Depual?
Also, why does Depaul have a 70% admission rate and a 33% attendence rate for people who are admitted? Thanks

Probably Loyola...it's got the whole Jesuit liberal arts thing going for it. Whereas Depaul seems less intellectual and more practical.

"Why does Depaul have a 70% admission rate and a 33% attendence rate for people who are admitted?"

My guesses on why 33% of those accepted who choose to attend:
1) I think some excellent students use Depaul as their safety school and then they get in elsewhere.
2) Depaul is relatively inexpensive for schools of its kind, isn't it? I think some students apply to Depaul and some more expensive colleges and figure if they get good financial aid or scholarships they'll go to the expensive college and if they don't they'll go to Depaul - and then they get good financial aid or scholarships.
