I want to study animation and I’m going to attend a community college first, but I’m having trouble deciding which degree to go for. There’s the Associate in Arts Degree, the Associate in Arts in Studio Arts for Transfer, and the Associate in Science in Graphic Design Degree.
My counselor recommended I go for an AA-T rather than an AA/AS degree, but I saw this type of degree is designed mainly for transitioning to a CSU. The university I’m planning to apply to in the future is USC, which is a private school and isn’t a part of the CSU or UC system. Will the AA-T degree still be a suitable choice to pursue? I’m sorry, I still don’t quite understand how this all works.
