Which should I pick, Cal Poly SLO or CSUF? I was accepted into the CSUF business honors program and university honors program as well.
Both good programs and good schools. Which school do you see yourself going to for 4 years?
Yeah I like both of their business programs. I think that I could have a better college experience at Cal Poly but it would be beneficial being in the BH program at CSUF
Do the benefits from the Honors program, outweigh 4 years at your preferred school (SLO)? I personally favor SLO.
From what I’ve been told it looks good to employers if you have been in a BH program rather than just attending a school. I am not sure however if the benefits from it outweigh those from going to Cal Poly without being in an honors program. I’m guessing it’s pretty equal but I could be wrong
There are 2 CSUFs - Fullerton and Fresno.
SLO beats them both by a pretty wide margin.
I’m talking about Fullerton NCalRent. But even with the BH program you think that SLO still beats it by a wide margin?
I don’t know much about their campus specific honors program - though my son is a biz major in an honors program at another CSU campus. Honors is kind of an asterisk or footnote on your diploma - nice to have but, the headline is the school you went to school.
SLO has a much more residential vibe and a much stronger reputation with employers.
That said - Fullerton is a good school. If that campus feels more like home, that’s where you should go.
