Which dorm hall is the best at FSU? I want to be somewhere that has a good social/party scene but knows how to buckle down and get serious when it's time to study. Basically a nice balance of social life and academics.
I was accepted into the honors program so I have access to the honors dorms as well.

That’s not something that your dorm does… that part is all on you. Every dorm will have social events, so that part’s pretty much a push. But the “buckle down” part isn’t something that your dorm does, you have to do that.

This topic (the “Best” dorm at FSU) comes up all the time. The answer is that there isn’t one that’s really the best. You can read more by checking these other threads:

I would say go with the honors dorms. Because Landis Gilchrist and Broward are connected it seems like it is an extremely social setting. My daughter is in her first year of FSU, she lives in Broward and they are all going back and forth socializing between dorms. She got straight A’s taking 5 classes, and most of her friends did well too. The dorms are really nice too. Good luck!!
