Anybody have experience with International House?

Unit 3 is the balls. We're closest to campus, Telegraph, and the Asian Ghetto + Top Dog (is there anything better than that really?) Plus, we have cute girls, probably only second after Clark Kerr.

Closer than Unit 1 to the azn ghetto and top dog? The girls i don't know, they seem to be nicely distributed throughout. You're closer to sproul, which rocks, but foothill is closest to campus, and we are the same distance (Unit I) to campus as you are.

How is freeborn?

It's alright.

It's all about Unit 2! Nice dorms close to campus would be the mini-suites at Towle (U2) and Slottman(U1). U1 is closer to the Asian Ghetto and Top Dog than U3. U3 is older, not as nice looking, and rooms are not as "new" because they haven't been renovated. From my dorm, I have a view of the Bay, while at the same time, view of the courtyard which is nice.

The reshalls are more social. Food at X-roads is okay, but I go to CKC since it's only a 5 minute walk for Unit 2. The distance of CKC is over-exaggerated.

With I-house, rooms are smaller and doubles have bunked beds. Unless you're an international student, you must have a junior or senior standing to be there. They are on a different meal plan, so you can't use points at GBC or any of the dining facilities.

Eek, I don't think the distance to CKC is overexaggerated. It sure is gorgeous, though.

it's well worth the walk. although ckcdc can be iffy sometimes. you have to catch a good meal

DRab: Hahaha. It depends from person to person. :) How was the Zebra party?

Nbanyk: Next week's menu is promising: coq au vin, tilapia, and more.
