Which EC should go on the app? (not enough room for both)

Which of these two extra curricular activities would be the best to put in my last available EC entry?

Thanks!

fbla
since you won 3rd in state

i do want to mention that it was in the state of utah. but i see you’re logic and that’s what i was thinking as well.

hello fellow utahn  As someone who loves debate too, I’ll try to give you my take on it. Debate is the #1 thing colleges look for…but in your case, you don’t really have any outstanding awards. also…you do know that they don’t have oratory in college, right? Only Parli, Policy, and a weird adapted version of LD, to my knowledge. none of the IEs. also, you listing mock trial on the app is technically incorrect- debate and mock trial are two completely different things…

I would put FBLA since you’ve actually gotten a state award in it, and the time dedicated is about the same anyway

Go with FBLA
