Which essay to send to Harvard and Yale?

I have my two UC's essays and for my common application I'm using one on my overcoming my lisp (the best) .I also have an essay about my ethnicity and it's somewhat creative and good.

I have an essay also on my mom's suicide attempts and how I was forced to grow up early. Which do you think is better? The better written ethnicity essay or the essay about my parent's divorced, suicide attempts, growing up early?

Who not the lisp one, since you say it’s best?

I am thats for my common app, but there’s supplements for Harvard + Yale. I am not sure if I should attach my one about my family troubles or about my “cultural” troubles.

I feel the 2nd is better written, but I feel the 1st is more moving…

Wait, could you clarify on the more moving one? The suicide attempts is the LESS moving one? <_<

No suicide is more moving…

Ethnicity= better written…

I’d go for ethnicity. A badly written essay about suicide attempts could be dangerous. If you’re not totally sure about it, don’t do it.

Do you mind if I send you it to review it?

It’s not that poorly written and that isn’t the entire focus of the essay.

???

I’ll read it for you. pm me.
I am struggling whether to put in two dark essays.
My common app is my economic struggles and my supplement is how my view changed after reading a book about homeless teens. Wondering if I should replace my supplement for something lighter and show them how outgoing I am.

Apologies. It’s pretty late here and I keep falling asleep at my desk.

Send it over. I’ll go through it, though I might not reply for a few hours.
