Which Grammar Book Should I Read?

<p>hello everyone,i am not from usa and english is my second language.thats why i need to study grammar,i would like to know which grammar book should i read to prepare for SAT.is there any specific Grammar book that emphesizes only only SAT.please help :)</p>

<p>Urgh, ok. You should pick up the "Test Prep:Grammar". Incredibly beneficial.</p>

<p>Diana Hacker's Pocket Guide to Grammar or whatever is useful for SAT and class; it has MLA/Chicago formatting guides too!</p>

<p>the grammar in Gruber's book is pretty comprehensive I think.</p>

<p>Grubers and Barrons are good. I don't think you'll find any free online versions of these though. try going to the library... or buy it, then return it...</p>

<p>My sole grammar textbook was a book for elementary/middle-school level called G.U.M. </p>

<p>thanks a lot,i think i can get barrons....hey,today an amazing incident took place.i was walking by street when a huge heap of old tattered books caught my eye.i went there and incredulously i found PR,KAPLAN,BARRON's,PR 11 tests,10 real sats----all of them were 2005 version except 10 real sats which was really old.you know what's more unbelievable? the old man asked only 10 $ for all these books.i think tomorrow i can manage the money tomorrow and buy those books.</p>

<p>yeah :) it seems like now-a-dayz i am often being lucky.may God fulfill my dreams.i already have 10 real sats (published by collegeboard before the BB came into existance).so i shall buy rest of the books,guess then i can buy those books for 8 $ :)</p>
