Which is a better GPA? 4.0 UW/4.0 W vs 3.8/4.2W vs 3.6/4.4W

<p>Which is the better GPA?</p>

<p>I've been hearing it's better to take AP classes and get B's than take normal classes and get A's because of the difficult courseload, but it seems to me that a 4.0 UW and 4.2 W is sometimes considered better than a 3.8 UW and 4.4 W.</p>

<p>I'm talking about from a UC standpoint by the way.</p>

<p>4.4, colleges prefer that you report weighted grades.</p>

<p>UCs ask for both and they even calculate their own GPA.</p>
