which is better? 2100 on SAT or 33 on ACT?

which score looks better? for the sat i got
M: 750
V: 730
W: 620 (ouch) 8 on the essay

and act
33/34/35/29, and 11 on the essay =33 for writing

The 33...but you should take the SAT again because it seems like you could eventually get a 2180 if you just work on writing (raise it to a 700)

a 33 on the ACT is like a 1470 on the old SAT, or, in other words, almost exactly the same as your 1480 (math + reading) on the new SAT.

There's no good way to compare an ACT to a new SAT, but my guess is that most colleges will think of a 33 ACT as similar to a 2200 SAT.

I agree with sr662 that you could study some grammar and improve your score on either test. You're lucky that grammar is your weakness--anyone on this board will tell you it's the easiest section to improve.

whoa that's really weird... i got the exact same scores. not in each part, but my composites are the same. and about the comparison, i also found that a 33 ACT is about 1470 on the old SAT, and my counselor told me that 2100 on the new SAT is like a 1400, so the ACT score is a bit better.

wat is the hardest to improve on, on the aCT?

hey chanman, thats my AIM sn, nice to meet you

those are also my act/sat scores as well, what a silly day
