Which is better (classes)

Which would colleges view as better to be on my transcript as a senior

Honors sociology and honors psychology (easy honors at an urban school)

-or-

Europe since 1600 and Introduction to philosophy (classes at a local college)

I signed up for the second two because they interest me much more, and I'm just wondering if that was the right decision. Any input would be great

i recommend the second option. unless you plan to major in psychology or sociology, colleges will view it as a slack off class, especially if its an easy A class. they will view the local college classes as a better option, especially if you do well in them.

i agree with cowtipper. if you have the chance to take college classes, it'll definitely look better than honors.

Thanks for responding...I don't remember where but I once heard that colleges looked down on classes taken at universities (I don't know why) but this clears my worries

College classes definately. Especially since Sociology and Psych. aren't rigorous classes really.

second... unless psych. is ap...
