Which is better for Pre-Medicine (Undergraduate)?

I was looking at several colleges that I have been admitted to and I was wondering which one would be the best for a pre-medicine track. I plan on majoring in Biology.

Sorry, I forgot to list the Colleges I got admitted into. University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), Saint Louis University (SLU), Michigan State University (MSU), Purdue University, University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC).

I’d stray away from Purdue unless you want to go into engineering. They have good physics which might help you on your MCAT, but overall PU is engineering or best. Or agriculture. Or nursing. Whatever.

Most people would tell you to go to the school that will cause you the least amount of debt and enable you to get the highest GPA.

Have you looked into SLU’s med scholars program? Would be worth your while to at least check out.

[Medical Scholars : Saint Louis University : SLU](http://www.slu.edu/x24610.xml)

I know it’s a lot to think about right now, but if you think you could stay in St Louis for medical school, you might really consider this program.

I know that the grad program at michigan state is well known for med.

The one that you feel is the best fit for you as a student and as a person. Your GPA, MCAT score, opportunities that you will have in UG and all kind of experiences in classroom and outside, people around you will depend on you, not college that you choose. All of the above will determine success of your application to Med. School.

Oops, forgot to mention that having Med. School or not does not matter. D’s college does not even have Med. School, she and her pre-med friends have no problem with acceptances at other places.
