I have been accepted to Penn State University Park, Indiana Bloomington, Mizzou, Ithaca College and Elon University. I am looking to major in journalism. Which school would provide an overall great experience? Which school is highly ranked in journalism and will give me more prospects in the future? I have also been accepted into Boston and American University but they were too expensive for me to consider. Thank you for your help!

Mizzou for Journalism. Congrats.

Missou is #1 in the country and Ithaca is also very highly ranked.
Can you give us
(tuition+ R&B) - (grants+scholarships) = ?
What’s your parents’ budget?

In order of my recommendations, from greatest to least: Mizzou, Indiana, Penn State, Ithaca, and Elon. Journalism schools actually aren’t really ranked (at least for undergrad); Missouri is just always consistently up there for the best.

What about cost though? Which are the cheapest, how much can you afford?

What kind of journo do you intend to become? Which program/school/city best suits it?

Honestly, I am a little surprised that you are at this late stage and asking questions about the strength of schools. This is usually at the beginning of the process.
