Which major is best for applying to medical school?

I am a high school senior attending college in the fall. I am attending the University of Delaware Honors program and am currently listed as a chemistry major. I plan on switching my major to either biochemistry or neuroscience and am not sure which to choose. Any help?

Definitely Biochem. Neuroscience is too specialized. Also, chemistry may not give you as much coursework you need to pass the MCAT. If you know, the new MCAT 2015 is now featuring new topics such as humanities including anthropology, psychology, etc. Also, the science sections are adding genetics, molecular biology, and biochemistry. So taking either biochemistry or molecular biology majors will give you a good base to study for the MCAT.
