<p>hi all</p>
<p>i should choose a major and i have no idea what should i do
i don't know what is right for me!
i love art, i really enjoy every kind of it but i don't think i have any artistic talents
at least i've never tried any before
i take good pictures, i know that for sure, but i don't know if photography is a good major for me. i don't see that as a career (it's more like a hobby for me)
i also love solving puzzles and working with computer, i spend all day with my pc
i love things that require working with hands and i learn by observing much more than attending a lecture
i took Strong Interest Inventory (SII) test and i figured out i'm REALISTIC ARTISTIC (RA) kind of person! but yet it didn't give me a clue what should i choose as my life career!!!</p>
<p>i have another problem too
i quit medical school because i didn't see myself curing people (not that i wasn't good at it) it was more because i couldn't take responsibility of people's life
so now i face a dilemma
whether i should do sth related to health science (transfer medical transcript to sth like psychology) or forget that and start something else all over (which i can't figure out what!)</p>
<p>plz plz help me it's driving me crazy!!!!

<p>There is this weird field called medical illustration, which is to draw and paint guts and bones more clean and identifiable than photo to be used for text books and doctor’s room decor, there used to be big demand and steady jobs. After of course computer thing kicked in, not so much but there are people still doing it. Since you get to see the real thing all the time, maybe you got hands for that.

It is campaign against smoking now on view in NYC. It is controversial but sure send message.
Before this, there was a campaign against obesity and this subway poster had soft drink poured in the glass gradually changed into chunk of yellow gooey human fat.
All photoshopped but stunning!
So what I am saying is, what you are doing is unique if you ever want to become artist, while keep you fed and roofed.
Don’t make hurried decision, study what you meant to do hard for now.
There is this manga (do you know what that is? It’s Japanese comics) artist has MD and made pile of money from medical comics.</p>
<p>And this artist was prof of art and in midlife decided to go to medical school.</p>

I got them through my job making bears and dogs, bunnies and elephants.</p>
<p>D is a science nut, so I am suggesting medical illustration for her to maybe minor in. She’s good at graphic art too, so that will help. That radiology art is so cool. Hubby is an X-Ray, nuke med guy and D is an artist, so they’ll both love the combo.</p>

check books by Rien Poortvliet or Maryjo Koch, those are more fun than guts and bones.</p>
