Which Michigan University?

I know that my choices aren’t that great, but it is the best that I can do. Seeing that I didn’t finish HS (long story short: hit a teacher), and I am lacking in some spots. Right now I am in a CC with an overall GPA of 3.37. I plan to transfer in January of ’07 or September of ’07.

Schools I have gotten into:
Central Michigan
Eastern Michigan
Northern Michigan
Wayne State

Haven’t heard from:
Michigan State (doubt I will get in)
Western Michigan (would think I got in)

Out of the four that I have gotten into which one would be my best bet? I want to go into Elementary Education (funny choice, but hey).

Eastern probably has the best program for education. It's real close to U-M Ann Arbor so you can hang out there if u like the "college town" atmosphere.

Central is known to be a party school.

Northern is really cold lol.

Wayne State is a great school, but it's in downtown Detroit. The actual campus is great, but not too nice of an area surrounding it.

Academically, I've heard that Central and Western are better than Eastern and Northern. Wayne St is good for like pre-med and stuff i think.

You'll probably get into MSU, I got in with a 3.32 ~23 on ACT and ~ 1800 on the SAT...and I know kids who have gotten in with lower stats

Obviously, take Michigan State if you can, and then, try to transfer to University of Michigan.
