Which of AP exams are easiest?

I plan to self study for the exams. I am currently a incoming sophomore.
Which are the easiest to self study and get a 5 on exam from easiest to hardest.
(Picked based from past posts. Also know psych is one, but my school offers class. the ones below are ones my school doesnt offer)

ap micro, ap macro, ap human geography, ap environmental science.

Questions
1. easiest to hardest list for self studying and the exam
2. easiest for 10th grade self study (mind taking honors and an ap during school yr, so easy ap self study please)
3. 11th grade self study (mind taking even harder classes than previous year)
4. 12th self study (mind taking even harder classes than previous yr.)

Thank you

(I want to head in on business maybe, so should I take ap micro AND ap macro, or can I just take one?

There’s no reason to do this unless you want college credit for an AP class your school doesn’t offer, or that doesn’t fit into your schedule. If your school offers a particular AP class, colleges would like you to take the class and the test rather than just the test. If your school doesn’t offer a particular AP class, you’re not expected to take it and you’d be better off working on your ECs or essays.

Do micro and macro separate summers, may get confusing and you have the time. Macro probably has an easier exam from what I’ve heard.

I see the point you’re trying to make. However, my school doesn’t offer any business classes, and I’d like to take them. Should I selfstudy micro/macro? Would taking a college credit course work? What would you suggest?

Also, I wanted to be a National AP scholar, and that’s why I wanted to self study because you needed 8 APs by the end of 11th grade so it could be put on the APP. Do you think colleges like that or should I just stick with AP scholar with distinction (5APs 4+). Thanks!

I’d recommend taking actual classes rather than self-studying whenever possible. The only reason to self-study is that you want college credit for something your school doesn’t offer.
There’s nothing special about these awards, especially when you consider the opportunity cost of spending a lot of time studying for AP tests when you could be working on your ECs or doing something else that would benefit you more. They just signify how many AP exams you passed, which doesn’t matter for admissions (and colleges can already see how many AP exams you passed by looking at your self-reported scores, so the award doesn’t really add anything).

^I thought the award just looks nice. It does garner the word “National”.

I would say AP Human Geography, AP Enviro, and AP Micro/Macro are the easiest to manage.
After that, probably AP Psych, AP Gov, and an English AP, since you’ve taken English for many years by now.

Just take the first four I mentioned. My friend slept through half of those classes and just spent the night before cramming some prep books and still ended up with 5’s in the three that he took.

Macro and Micro have a large overlap so you should do both. English lang is also relatively straightforward.

Honestly, getting a 4 on an AP exam is far from signifying proficiency on a topic; taking exams just for an award is quite meaningless as if colleges do not consider the exams themselves, then what hope do you have to gain something from an award based on them?
