Which of these colleges require the SAT Subject Test?

Boston University
University of Connecticut (Storrs)
UMass Amherst
Rutgers University, New Brunswick
New York University
Northeastern
Penn State
Providence
University of Maryland College Park

Also, if you happen to know that one of these takes the ACT in place of the SAT subject test, please tell :)

I’m not sure about the SAT subject tests, but I know that the SAT and ACT are interchangable at all of the well-known universities. So, basically any of the places you’ll be applying to will accept an ACT score :)

Look them up on CollegeBoard or their website - that is the quickest way, rather than relying on someone’s word on this board.

take a look at this link:

Go here for a list of colleges that require, recommend, or consider SAT subject tests: [Compass: Admissions Requirements](<a href=“SAT Subject Test Requirements and Recommendations - Compass Education Group”>SAT Subject Test Requirements and Recommendations - Compass Education Group) The only one you list that actually requires subject tests is BU. It takes the ACT in lieu of both the SAT and SAT subject tests (when you look at the list at that site in the required column, an * next to the number required means the college accepts the ACT in lieu of both the SAT ands SAT subject tests). NYU accepts SAT or ACT or three SAT IIs or three APs – you have your choice from those four options. None of the others you list will consider subject tests even if submitted.
