<p>I hear GWU is a good school for Poli Sci/IR. Why? Its in the DC area. You have easy access to multiple internships at multiple agencies. I personally know some former high school classmates from back in the day who went there and have no problem securing internships.</p>

<p>In political science as an academic field, Penn State is somewhat stronger than GWU; both of them are much stronger than American. In economics as an academic field, Penn State is much stronger than both GWU and American. GWU and American have the advantage of their location in Washington, DC.</p>
