Which of these schools do you think is the better option? (Temple, Rutgers, Point Park, Albright)

I’m a senior from south NJ and so far I’ve gotten accepted to Temple, Point Park, Albright, Arcadia, Marymount Manhattan, Lesley, and Rowan. Now I’m just waiting on Rutgers and Ithaca. I’ve done tons of research on all these colleges and have read more reviews than I think humanly possible but I still have no idea where I would want to go. I’ve visited Temple, Arcadia, MMC, and Rowan. While I love Temple a lot, they didn’t give me any scholarships and out of state tuition is too expensive for me. I’ve gotten merit scholarships for almost all of my other schools, but I’m still gonna have trouble paying for college. Rutgers would probably be my most affordable option but I’m not sure about the campus (with the bus system and everything) or if I would really fit in there.

Now that I got that out of the way, I just want to know you guys’ opinions on any of these colleges or how you think they compare, etc. I’m just looking for opinions on where you think you would attend if you could and why…or any other input you wanna give me would be appreciated. Thank you!

Your best bets will be Rowan and Rutgers. Rutgers is a very active school and yes you could be zipping around from campus to campus. Albright, Marymount, Park Point and Lesley are very low or unranked schools. Really not worth it.

Rowan and Rutgers are in a very different class than the other schools and you are instate. Rowan is a medium sized school and by all accounts a very pleasant school. The Rowan Boulevard project looks very interesting.

Stockton and Ramapo are also much better options.

If you can’t afford Temple, cross that off. I’m from NJ, and I applied to Temple, so I share your concerns about OOS costs.

I think Rutgers would be the best option.
