<p>I have been on this forum for about two years. I seen a lot chances posts and cries of despeseration.
However recently I noticed something interesting. </p>
<p>Those who opens thread after thread asking for their chances and how to improve them and questions like, "Is my scores good enough" or "do my ECs glow throught the admission folder" are less likely to end up in the college of their choice. (mostly HYPS)</p>
<p>But those who post little or no chances thread and focus specifically how they can improve such as making constructive posts in the SAT/ACT section etc, are more likely to end up in the college of their choice. </p>
<p>Of course, this does not apply to everyone, but I think its a fair generalization. And sorry if this has been posted before....</p>
