Which one should I retake and do I need to retake the essay if I choose the ACT?

Which one should I retake and do I need to retake the essay if I choose the ACT?

2070 on SAT (750 M, 680 W, 640 CR with a 10 on the essay)

33 on ACT (31 E, 32 R, 34 S, 36 M with a 10 on the essay) <--- I was so close to a 34.

Anyway, another option is to not retake at all and focus on the essays and applications. I'm leaning towards this.

I also have 2 SAT Subject tests with a 750+. My next highest score is a 690 on USH. Should I retake the 3rd one if I want to go to Georgetown?

Thanks and all advice is appreciated. :)

I would retake nothing and put the energy into the apps and essays; there is little statistical difference between a 33 and a 34 on the ACT.

I would suggest retaking the ACT because it can really only help you. Even if you do early decision you still have plenty of time to work on applications and essays, as well as retake the test. I would agree that there isn’t a huge difference between a 33 and a 34, but if you got lucky and scored a 35 that would be a great improvement! Ultimately the choice is yours, good luck!
