Im sure there are already threads like this, but I wanted to know.
So, in the mind of colleges, is a good score in the SAT equivalent to a good score in the act. Or do colleges tend to favor the sat?

Colleges say they don't care. I'd like to believe this is true, and I would be willing to bet it is. Even though no one I talk to understands a good ACT score but automatically knows a good SAT score, high scores only make the college look better in terms of admissions statistics. So if they have high median scores in both, and the applicants are admitted, who's the loser? So really I don't think it matters. That's my theory anyway.
Even so, I can't help but feel like the ACT is easier because I can't crack a 2100 on the SAT but got well over the "SAT equivalent" of 2100 on the ACT according to that table CollegeBoard released. Everyone I've talked to from students to admissions counselors say they honestly don't care.
