<p>Ok I know people have made post about this in the past, but i just dont feel like looking for them lol. I was wondering...which univeristy would you guys attend between CAL(UC Berkeley), and UCLA? Any reason for why you would choose...or did choose one of the univeristies would be great. Thanks!!!!</p>

<p>Berkeley actually has a higher acceptance rate than UCLA. However, i do agree it is more difficult to get into.
Tough call, depends on the subject. For undergrad id probably go with ucla, but for grad berkeley for sure.</p>

<p>Berk is slightly more prestigious, but don't pick for that reason. Here's a better question: do you want to live in LA or SF after you graduate. Where you go will effect this.</p>
<p>dont pick UCB just because if its prestigious or because its top 20 in the nation.......pick ucb or ucla for a specific reason you like about the college.........not because you want to attend a really good college and it happens to be that berkeley is slightly better than ucla in rank</p>
<p>Slipper1234..that's a good question. i'm from the Bay area so idk if i should just go down to LA...and experience something new for the next 4 yrs of my life or not. Well i'm visiting UCLA on the 7th...so i guess that will help me with my decision. Oh and i'm a history major at UCLA..but a PoliSci major at CAL...but im guessing both departments are ranked higher at CAL..</p>
<p>Um, duh UCLA. There's no competition. It's so sad how kids on here judge a school based on its acceptance rate or if they've heard about it or not.</p>

<p>I second the questions caliplaya03 is asking...if I got into Cal I'd have trouble picking between it and UCLA as well.</p>

<p>ucla sounds more like party hard, work hard type school...but I'm not too fond of LA. </p>

<p>Ok I don't really know anything about either schools. If Berkeley is worse than LA then I'll choose UCLA. But for now everything I know about LA is related to crime or gangs. Or smog.</p>

<p>UCLA is located in the wealthy part of LA. If you're thinking of gangs or crime, that's USC where the campus is smashing but where the outside is one ugly piece of crap.</p>
<p>UCLA/ Westwood is pretty much heaven. Theoneo does beverley hills scare you? Because in my opinion Westwood (where UCLA is) is actually nicer than most of BH.</p>
