I am applying for transfer as a sophomore, and I am thinking which of the following professors I should ask for a rec letter - but first lemme give you guys some background about me:
I study in a top 20-ish (who knows whats up with all those ranking) uni, have a 3.9+GPA, major in International relations w/ a focus on econ. Transferring because program isn’t top-notch - and those schools I am applying for have a stellar dept on that.
Now, potentioal recommenders include

Econ (stat) professor: took his class last year, he absolutely loves me (I scored 97.5% in in his class), knows me pretty well, BUT he’s a foreigner and not tenure-tracked.

Writing professor: also took his class last year, shows great improvement in his class (B- to A), BUT he’s a graduate student, and he doesn’t love me as much as the econ professor

IR professor: taking his class, doing pretty good so far, tenure-tracked and harvard graduate, BUT I always feel like I can’t get a smooth conversation with him (he always cracks really bad joke, AWKWARD)
Need advice on this. Any feedback will be appreciated. And don’t hesitate to ask for more info if necessary.
