I know there was this huge thread about grammatix, but I just want to know one thing-whether I should buy the Grammatix book, or the Sparknotes SAT prep book.
The thing is, I WOULD buy both, but I don`t live in the U.S, so books cost more/shipping fees, etc and I only have this summer to study. So which book is more effective?
Thanks to all who replied.

I have been preparing from Barron's book for new SAT. My seniors did the same and got preety good score.

I know nothing about sparknotes SAT preparation book. Hopefully, someone who knows will write in here.

Sparknotes Test Prep is the ulitmate TTT. Don't waste money on that when you could buy Barron's, PR, Kaplan, and Peterson's all of which are better. Your best bet is probalby the official CB guide to the new SAT. I used the Kaplan SAT 2400 book and it was decent. Didn't get me a 2400 though.

I think that Barrons combined with CB's official guide is the ultimate test prep tool. Barrons boosted my score by over 200 points.

I've heard the barrons books are much harder than the actual exam.

But, the extra prep. might just help!
Collegeboard is the best bet though, I've been going through their sat prep book and it summarizes a lot of mathematical concepts in one chapter.

Yeah, Barrons SAT is a harder than the actual test. But, that's a good thing.
