Which SAT scores to send to Princeton SCEA?

Hey guys.

I am confused which SAT scores to send to Princeton.

I did a SAT with essay 5 months ago and got 1570/1600 and 6/5/6 on 8/8/8.

To improve my essay score, I took the SAT with essay again this month and got 1480 and I am still waiting for my essay scores. The essay scores should probably be higher than last time (they aren’t out yet, will be in 5-10 days). My SAT scores went down because I didn’t practice at all.

I am applying to Princeton SCEA. Which scores should I send - Both or only the first one?

Princeton says it superscores the SAT, but I guess they will at least look at the other scores. Right?

Hi there! I would recommend sending only the 1570/1600. While they do take a quick look at the score of your essay, they honestly probably don’t care a lot. The 1570 is way more valuable compared to the 1480 than the 8/8/8 compared to the 6/5/6.

Hey there, just a heads up, when you get in, your superscore is the only thing that is ever recorded and what you can see on your Tigerhub portal (where you can find old scores). Idk what to do since it’s been a while but maybe that helps. In the past, you might as well send them all, but maybe it changed now. However, Pton is still the same, and they really only ever record your superscore. Hope someone else with more recent exp gets to this :slight_smile:
