My math score for the SAT I is about a 650. I plan to major in Business. I've already taken four years of high school math and am currently struggling in Calculus. Does it matter which SAT II (math) I take?

Also, is the Biology SAT or the Physics SAT harder? I'm equally good at both subjects.

Remember that scores are relative. So if your equally as good at bio and physics your scores will be similar. I would imagine physics has a nicer curve, so the scores should balance out. As far as math, I would go for math 2. It really isn’t that hard, just more involved and requires more critical thinking and it doesn’t have much calculus on it, if any.

Caruso707: Thanks! I’ll probably go for the Physics since I’m taking AP Physics next year anyway. But if I have time to review, I might take the Biology one, too.

Oh, that’s good. If it doesn’t have calculus, I can probably handle the Math II, then.

It’s possible you may find the Subject test for the Math II exam easier than the regular SAT Math because the latter requires more ingenuity and critical thinking, whereas the Math II exam tends to be more straightforward and focuses more on how much you know.

xquiksilverx: Oh, that explains a lot, then. I’ve still got Spring Break to study for them anyway, and I’m sure I’ll be ready for one of Math II by then. :)
