I was reading somewhere that most colleges want SAT Subject Tests too. How many do they want? (I think I may have read 3 for Harvard)

I wanna go into Med.

I'm going to take Chemistry and a Math but I'm not sure about the third?

Also, I'm in Calc AB right now, so should I take Math Level 2 (is it hard?)

math 2 only requires precal and below
and only ivy leagues require 3, most require 2

thanks.

any one in particular i should take for the third? [im also applying to ivy leagues]

In order to be competative at very selective colleges[ i.e.Ivy's, etc] you should take 4 SATs if at all possible- math, science, history and foreign language. If you take APUSH, then take the US HISTORY TEST. If you take AP Lit, take the ENGLISH LIT TEST, etc. etc.

menloparkmom is right. Take the SATII test in any AP class you're taking. Otherwise, I recommend taking another science if possible (since you're considering med, biology might be a good idea).

I disagree with menloparkmom. The Ivy league admissions sessions I went to said they wanted subject tests in areas you cared about and thought you could do really well.

4 SATIIs is really excessive, especially because Harvard is basically the only one that requires 3 (Yale wants two, for example). They're very expensive and you shouldn't spend your money on more than you need.
