I just want to know which month is best to take the SAT (aka the curve is easiest) and which is the worst.

SAT II: May should be the hardest since most people who take the AP test also take the SAT II test.

As for SAT I: there is no best/worst time to take the test. Simply take it when you believe you are adequately prepared.

For SAT I, I thought December would be the best because my logic was that that's when the panicky seniors are taking it for the last time.

I was right! I took it December and the curve was great. I got one wrong and one omit for math and got a 780

The curve isn't based on people taking the test! it's predetermined based on the difficulty of the test!

They're all the same. If YOU, personally, have a schedule conflict, pick the month that works best for you.

i thoguht that the dec test was the best

There is no difference among the different months--the standard scores for the tests are based on an analysis of all the questions, which appear on different test forms in lots of combinations throughout the year.

what about january??!.. I think not many seniors take it..

Standardized test = they're all the same. The curves are set BEFORE the tests, so who's taking it really doesn't matter.

umm, yeah, that's why it's called standardized.
