I'm probably going to major in business.

I am aware of the fact that this schedule would make me ineligible for an IB diploma.

OR

11th grade:

IB Math SL

This schedule would be in addition to the IB diploma requirements (CAS, EE). Also, this potential schedule makes me a little uneasy because from what I've heard - IB Math Studies and IB Environmental (and no, IB Chem and IB Physics are not options for me) are absolute jokes. However, I'm thinking that the addition of an IB diploma may offset that.

So which schedule would be more impressive for college admissions? Any answers would be greatly appreciated, as this is a very urgent situation and I don't have much time to make a decision. :/

Personally, I don’t think you should be entirely concerned with which schedule is “more impressive for college admissions”, but rather which is more suitable for keeping with your chosen major path/IB diploma requirements. Which classes would prepare you most or exempt you from introductory-level college courses (if the latter is even an option-I don’t know too much about the IB program but know that AP classes can do this)? Also consider which schedule would be the most manageable for you and your strong points. This is something you should definitely discuss with your guidance counselor, especially if time is of the essence.

First of all, thank you for the quick response. :)

While I’m definitely going to get my guidance counselor’s opinion on this issue, I’m scared she isn’t going to help me much because she tends to be very impartial when it comes to helping students make decisions like this.

Also, both of these schedules seem relatively equal in difficulty (maybe the second one is slightly easier) so it sorta has become a matter of which one is better for college admissions IMO. Still, I appreciate the opinion!

Well, if it comes down to “college admissions”, you should research prospective colleges (if you haven’t already) and find out which ones require prerequisite courses- and what courses those are-for entrance into certain undergraduate schools. Many colleges also list “recommended” courses, which can be potentially helpful if you’re trying to “wow” the admissions committee. You can base your decision on these details, depending on which schools are most important to you, as every school is different. Hope this helped further…

The first set because if you major in buisness, your going to want to do something to help you set yourself apart, minor in something math related, and the AP stat is the way to go, IMO.
