Which scholarships should I apply for?

I applied to Indiana with a 3.85 W and 30 on the ACT. I am a Hispanic living in California. I know IU has automatic scholarships, but are there any other ones that jump out that you think I could apply for? Thanks

Definitely apply for the Hudson Holland Scholarship Program. You should get in easily as a Hispanic student. This year’s entering HHSP class had SAT average of 1280, which equals a 28 ACT, so you should have no trouble getting accepted. It is worth at least $5,000 per year; $2,000 more per year your sophomore thru senior years if you maintain a cumulative gpa of at least 3.7.

Thank you, bthomp. I have bookmarked that scholarship. Another question: If I sent my ACT score on Sep. 30, and IU had informed me prior to this that they had received my application and materials, how long do you expect it would take to get my decision? Thank you.

I don’t think it would take longer than another three or four weeks. Good luck!

Thank you. I’ll apply for scholarships as soon as I can :D.
