Scholarship for Hispanics at Indiana University

<p>Indiana University has a very generous program for blacks and Hispanics called the Hudson Holland Scholars Program. Most students in the program receive $5,000 per year; and if your major is in a hard science, the award is $7,000 per year. Also, you can receive $1,000 for each semester beginning the first semester of your sophomore year for every semester your gpa is 3.7 or higher. It is an excellent program which helps you adjust to college life. Most students are fifty per cent or more black or fifty percent or more Hispanic, but applicants who are one-quarter black or Hispanic often are accepted into the program.
