which school in SU is the best? and Which major is better?

As I am a student of 2013 in SU, I felt so good here.
And I have told some of my friends with my experiences here~
They said they are also interested in applying SU in 2010's Application.</p>

<p>They asked me which school in SU is the best? and What major should they consider?
And now I post here to discuss with you.</p>

<p>we can disscuss the schools in SU with their reputation, academic strength, faculty, usefulness, etc.......</p>

<p>So, which school and what major is better in SU, you think about? share your ideas here~! and please know that we just disscuss the undergraduate level. Here are the list of the schools in SU.</p>

<p>School of Architecture;
The College of Arts and Sciences;
School of Education;
L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science;
The College of Human Ecology;
School of Information Studies;
College of Law;
The Martin J. Whitman School of Management;
Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs;
S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications
College of Visual and Performing Arts.</p>

<p>Your friends are asking the wrong question. Ask them to go out to the world and try different things. In the end, come back home with some ideas on what they want to do with their life. </p>

<p>You shouldn’t major in something because it looks good on paper.
Newhouse has a great reputation but nothing about Newhouse will make me want to change my major to Journalism or Graphic Design.</p>

<p>They need to take some time to think about they’re truly interested in and stop thinking about what would impress the most number of people.</p>

I have told my friends what you said here.
And they told me that they understand the personal interestes are important for college, academics, and life etc…
and they told me they just want to clearly know about those schools in SU.
How are their reputation, academic strenght, faculty, etc… because these are also the important factor to apply a college.
And personally, I also believe that SU has its unique , special and different aspects from other school. It is also why I have choosen SU months ago.
I think my friends are looking for the anwsers in which relate to each shcools in SU in academic aspects,etc…
