Which school is harder to get into at UM, LSA or Engineering?

A friend of mine told me that Engineering is easier to get into. (However this individual did get into LSA and I applied to Engineering). I am curious to know what others think on this issue.

Thanks!

I think the median GPA for engineering is a 3.9 and median ACT is 30. I dont know what LSA's medians are

I have no facts to back this up, but I heard that LSA honors > engineering > regular LSA (> in this case meaning more difficult to get in, not necessarily having a greater program).

I'm pretty sure you're right on that one, redhare. Another poster claimed to have median scores and GPA's for engineering. I do not, but I'm almost certain that it falls in between honors and non-honors LSA numbers.

even though im only applying to engineering....where does ross fall?

just curious...

It terms of % accepted, LSA is tougher. But in terms of GPA/SAT, Engineering is tougher.

For GPA/SAT:

LSA<Engineering<Business<LSA Honors I'm pretty sure.
