Which school would be better for a major in animal science? UCSB, UCSD, or UCD?

which major is stronger, marine biology or zoology at UCSB?

i want to major in zoology and i heard UCD is really strong in the animal science field.

UCSD is also the more prestigious of the three but i don’t really care, because i care more about if a biology major in UCSD would be as good as zoology at UCSB or animal physiology at UCD.

i don’t know what i want to do yet but after 4 years i’m gonna go for a masters and then decide whether i want to be a teacher or go for a PhD and become a vet.

any ideas?

the top three UC's are all extremely strong in zoology (B, LA, D). But, Davis has the only vet school in the state....

A daughter of a friend is applying this year for the 3rd time to UCD for Vet school! They say it's highly competitive and only 125 openings each yr! She has good stats too. She did undergrad at UCSD and graduated with honors. Her regret is she didn't go to UCD for undergrad.

UCD has like the best vet school in the nation... so I would think their animial sciences is very good.

I actually met a girl who is going to graduate from Davis this year. She chose Davis over all the schools( CAL, UCLA) because of it's various program for animal science. She wanted to be a marine biologist, but i think she's settling for research work on various birds species.

UC Davis. No contest, okay, I lied, maybe a little.
