I've been accepted by McGill, Toronto, and UBC and I hope to pursue studies in the biomedical sciences and probably return to the US for medical school later - but I really can't decide between the three schools

Can anyone offer me some advice on which one has the best science program, student life, and gives you the best chances of being accepted by graduate schools?

Thanks very much!

I just responded to your other post…I have a quick question for you. Are you Canadian or American? If you are Canadian, you won’t be going to a [public] American medical school. They are very clear about their ‘no internationals’ policy. Private medical schools probably do accept internationals, but I wouldn’t bet on it. If you are American, don’t worry about this.

Ultimately, you want to be comfortable and in an environment where you can take initiative to do the things that would make you attractive to medical schools eg. research, clinical shadowing, volunteering, leadership activities, unique experiences. A high GPA (word of caution, I believe McGill uses a funky grading system) and high MCAT scores may get you an interview, but lack of research and clinical experience will get you rejected no matter what.
