I'm scheduling for senior year now, and I'm struggling to pick my math and science class.

For science, my options are:

Plant Biology
Anatomy and Physiology 1
Astronomy
AP Chemistry

So far I've taken Honors Earth Science, Honors Biology, and Honors Chemistry. I'm leaning more towards either Plant Bio or A&P, since I kind of struggled with Hon Chem (got a B) and Astronomy seems like a joke.

Thoughts?

As for math, I can either take Pre-Calc, Business Math, or Prob and Stat. I'm currently in Algebra 2 and math is ALWAYS my weak spot. I got a D freshman year and raised it to a B last year, and will end junior year with a B as well. That said, should I take Pre-Calc?

At my school, A&P is as challenging as an honors science without the credit of it being honors. Wouldn’t recommend it not because it isn’t useful but because you’ll have to take your colleges version of it anyway, if you plan on going into medicine or anything like that.

Don’t take AP Chemistry if you struggled with it. You can, but you’ll have even MORE problems because Honors Chemistry just scratches the surface of AP Chemistry. Anatomy & Physiology is an interesting class but it’s a lot of memorization making it harder than it needs to be. Astronomy is really interesting, but could be an easy A. Plant Biology is also interesting (I was in Horticulture in the 9th grade this was my favorite unit) and it’s not that hard either just a lot of reading. If you’re not a really a math person, take Stat and Prob. PreCalculus is the math that prepares you for Calculus math not the material. PreCalculus has a lot of Algebra II and other new things. If you feel like you can handle a challenging class take PreCalculus.
