sup guys.

I need help picking a science for senior year.
I already took ap chem so it's between

ap biology - a lot of my friends are currently taking this and it looks like a heck of a lot of work. Most of them are scraping high a's but then again they're geniuses.

ap physics b - physics isn't really my forte. I'm also too scared to take physics c.

ap environmental science - this looks mighty tempting because it'd be nice kick back and relax a little. However, I've heard the teacher can't teach to save his life. And this course also looks bad to colleges because you're taking and easy way out? My friends always scoff when I tell them I'm considering it.

Yeah. Sorry I wrote so much. So which one should I take. Thanks for the hel.

AP bio. It isn’t that bad, at least at my school. Well im one of the three out of twenty that get A’s.
If physics isn’t your forte, then by no means take AP physics.
I don’t know anything about AP ENVS, but I doubt a college will think you are slacking by any means if you take it.

AP bio is probably your best bet, from what you’ve said.

IMO AP Bio if you want a easier year, its a joke.

AP Env is easier that AP Bio but AP Physics tops is the hardest. my choice? AP Bio =D

I found APES the easiest. AP bio is a crap ton of busy work.

I am in the same spot, and I chose AP bio because it is easier than physics, but has more prestige than APES. Funny, I know a lot of people at my school who went with my plan, and it’s interesting that other people are in the same spot.

You can’t take more than one?

BindersOpen - i could. but i’m a wimp.

thanks for all the input guys!
it sounds like i should take ap bio but i dont know. I’M SO INDECISIVE.

the bio kids always come in screaming and whining about some FRQ they have. and one of my friends who’s taking it says some days she comes home, sits in a chair to study for bio, then gets out of the chair at 2 in the morning.

and yeah I like physics and all, its just that i’m not AWESOME at it. do you need to be awesome to survive physics b?

anyway, thanks again to everyone!

we don’t do anything in our bio class, so I guess it depends on the school. on the other hand, I feel like I’m actually learning something every day in physics. plus I have an amazing physics teacher, so for me, I would definitely pick physics over bio.

Probably depends on your definition of “survive”.

In my Bio class I almost never have homework except a paper once a week or labs, packets, etc.

On the night before tests, I just read both chapters (our tests are two chapters at a time in Mader Biology 8th edition), take the online quiz on the book’s website, and do fine.
