Hello all. I'm looking at Carnegie Mellon Univ. for computer science, and I need to take a subject test in either bio, chem, or physics. I'm currently a senior, and sophomore year I took bio and last year I took honors chem. I'm currently taking physics this year. What would you think my best bet is for which science test to take? I'm taking the test in December, so I have a while to study. I think physics is out, but the chem and bio both look really difficult. Any advice? Thanks!

That should definitely be the subject you’re most confident with. So how are you doing in those science courses?

Or you can just go and do three practice tests and see which one you scored best…

(And BTW I’m computer science student too… and you know, the chem and bio tests do look scary to me. I really wish they could have computer science subject test…)

I did well in both, but Bio was sophomore year and Chem was last year so I think I’ll do that. However, looking at the chem practice test from the CB, I have no idea what 70% of it even remotely means.
