which score should i use?

<p>first off how much do UC's consider the writing section of the sat?
which score should i put on my application.
im gonna major in mechanical engineering so this makes it a little confusing.
math: 610 reading and writing: 560 total: 1730
or math: 640 reading:550 writing:520 total: 1710</p>

<p>I’d go ahead and put both, unless the UCs do not superscore, in which case the first is probably the best to put.</p>

<p>ya they dont unfortunately, ill put in the better one, but i sent both of them, so maybe they can look at it. I mean these are humans looking at these things.</p>
