which scores get sent

Perhaps a dumb question, but here goes.

Say you didn't get your ACT scores sent directly to a school on either of two testing dates. When you go to send scores later, do you have to pay for each date's test scores separately or if you pay the sending fee will all scores from all test dates be sent to the school you list?

Just wondering because S will take the test in April and I would really like to see how he does before the scores get to the schools. But if you have to pay separately for each test date's scores for each school (important for schools that superscore), then this could become very expensive. And if they send all scores regardless, then it defeats the purpose of not sending the first batch to begin with.

Thanks!!

$10 per test if you choose to send your scores after test day.

Some schools will accept ACT scores that are on your son’s transcript, but that will depend on the institution.

Thanks for clarifying that.
